Regional Sales Supervisor - Electronics

Your responsibilities

The Regional Sales Supervisor - Electronics is responsible for managing and developing current ongoing business within the assigned region, with a strong focus on distributor management, customer retention, and strengthening relationships with the largest existing customers, including key distributors.

Reporting to the Sales Manager – Electronics (South China), and in coordination with the Sales Manager – Electronics (North China), the Regional Sales Supervisor - Electronics supports execution of the Electronics business line strategy and will:

•    Manage and develop current ongoing Electronics business in the assigned region, ensuring consistent follow-up on existing customer and distributor accounts.
•    Maintain close working relationships with current distributors, monitor their business activities, and support effective execution of agreed commercial plans.
•    Strengthen relationships with the largest existing customers, including distributor accounts, by maintaining regular contact and coordinating timely responses to customer needs.
•    Support the Sales Manager – Electronics (South China) and Sales Manager – Electronics (North China) in day-to-day commercial activities, customer follow-up, and implementation of regional action plans.
•    Follow up on quotations, sample requests, pricing discussions, order status, and open commercial topics to help secure and retain existing business.
•    Work with technical, product management, customer service, supply chain, and finance teams to resolve customer issues and ensure reliable service to customers and distributors.
•    Represent ELANTAS products and services with a solid understanding of customer applications, distributor requirements, and Electronics market needs.
•    Monitor customer and distributor feedback, competitor activity, demand changes, and market developments relevant to current business.
•    Gather customer and distributor requirements and communicate relevant needs, risks, and opportunities to the sales managers and Product Management.
•    Track sales activities, opportunity follow-up, distributor performance, and key account progress using CRM and other company systems.
•    Prepare regular updates, sales reports, forecast inputs, and customer visit summaries for review with the sales managers.
•    Support annual planning, forecasting, and budgeting activities by providing customer, distributor, and market input from the assigned region.
•    Ensure timely and accurate use of sales processes, CRM systems, and reporting tools to improve transparency and follow-up discipline.
•    Support compliance with company policies and legal requirements in customer interactions, sales contracts, distributor arrangements, and channel partner activities.
•    Assist the organization in creating a safe and healthy working environment by working safely, using provided equipment, and following health and safety instructions.

Your profile

•     Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Chemistry preferred.
•    Experience in various Electronics market segments such as Computing, Communications, Consumer, Industrial, and Automotive Electronics.
•    Broad knowledge of Adhesives, Conformal Coatings, Potting Resins, and the Electronics assembly process.
•    In-depth knowledge of the local market and competitive landscape.
•    Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
•    Experience managing distributors, supporting key accounts, and coordinating commercial follow-up across internal functions.
•    Excellent written and oral communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
•    Ability to analyze sales data, distributor activity, customer feedback, and forecast information to support practical commercial decisions.
•    Computer literate with proficiency in MS Office, CRM systems, and other business systems (e.g., SAP).
•   Sound business judgment with a results-oriented mindset.
•    Able to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders in an international business environment.
•    Driven, self-motivated, self-disciplined and proactive.
•    Flexible and adaptable to changing situations.
