Director - Manufacturing
Your responsibilities
The Director - Manufacturing is the senior leader accountable for safely, reliably and competitively running ECKART America’s multi-site manufacturing network. The role leads Site Operations, Plant Engineering, Maintenance & Reliability, EHS & Process Safety, and Manufacturing Technology & Automation. The Director converts enterprise strategy, customer demand and approved network decisions into disciplined site execution, stable processes, capable assets and measurable operating performance. The role establishes one operating system across sites; develops accountable leaders; and delivers safety, environmental compliance, manufacturing conformance to approved standards, service, throughput, reliability, cost, productivity and controllable operating-performance objectives. As a member of the ECKART America leadership team, the Director shares responsibility for entity-level profitability and enterprise performance.
Your profile
Required: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Operations Management, or a related technical or business field.
Preferred: Graduate degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
Progressive senior leadership experience in complex, regulated, multi-site manufacturing, including accountability for safety, environmental compliance, operations, maintenance/reliability, engineering interfaces, budgets, employee engagement, talent development and organizational performance.
Demonstrated success leading through other leaders, operating in a union or employee-represented environment where applicable, implementing Lean/Six Sigma or equivalent operating systems, and working across regional and global matrices.
Demonstrated ability to stabilize operations while executing network changes, automation, complex capital programs, standardization and organizational change without compromising safety, manufacturing conformance or customer commitments.
