Customer Service Representative

Responsibilities

 

Responsible for managing customer interactions, processing sales- and sample orders and other inquiries to deliver accurate and timely service. 

  • Process customer purchase orders, sample orders and order changes, verify inventory availability, confirm shipping details.
  • Interface with Production, Shipping and Sales staff as needed.
  • Ensure timely shipment of orders.
  • Maintain clear and timely communication with customers regarding order status, shipping updates and other inquiries.
  • Prepare orders for export shipment in coordination with Export Coordinator
  • Process customer consignment orders and manage consignment consumption

Requirements

 

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in business administration, communications, or a related field is preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of customer service experience, ideally within a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Familiarity with order processing, invoicing, and ERP systems (SAP experience strongly preferred).
  • Proficient computer skills (MS Word, Excel, Outlook, ERP System and CRM).
  • Accurate typing and data entry skills.
