Maintenance Technician - 2nd Shift

Responsibilities

 

Maintenance troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, and repair of existing production equipment and utilities.  Timely completion of all work orders and tasks as assigned by the maintenance supervisor, engineering manager or their delegate.

Installs, repairs and maintains various mechanical, rotating and hydraulic equipment along with piping systems in a safe and efficient manner ensuring the plant meets its goals and objectives

- Maintain all process equipment in the facility.  Fabricate, assemble, repair, clean and maintain equipment.  These systems include but not limited to:  Mills, mixers, furnace, boilers, pumps, hydraulics, ventilation, heat exchangers, filters, piping and valves.
- Machine lubrication including draining and refilling oils and coolants from machinery.
Securing equipment and pipes, tubes, and related equipment by brazing, cementing, soldering, welding or threading joints
- Operate man lifts and fork trucks.

Requirements

 

1.   High School Diploma or equivalent.  
2.   3-5 years’ experience in an industrial plant maintenance environment, preferred 
3.   Working knowledge of electrical and PLC control systems, preferred
