Quality Control Technician
Responsibilities
This Quality Technician works in a laboratory environment and performs inspections and analytical testing on raw materials, in-process batches, and finished goods. This role must communicate and interact daily with the operations and technical employees.
Quality Control Operations
- Perform routine testing of raw materials to support purchase decisions and to help reduce quality variability.
- Perform routine testing of in-process batches and finished goods and recommend adjustments according to the company quality standards.
- Follow the testing procedures outlined in the company’s quality management system and suggest potential improvements to products and control plans.
- Document and record quality control test results for raw materials, intermediates and finished goods.
- Support the resolution of internal and external nonconformances.
General
- Complete any additional tasks or responsibilities assigned by the company or direct supervisor.
- Follow and adhere to all safety standards and regulations.
- Maintain a clean and tidy workspace.
Requirements
Education and Experience

- 2-year associate’s degree or 4-year bachelor’s degree in a science-related field preferred.
- Applicants with extensive ink/coatings experience or chemical manufacturing laboratory experience will be considered.
