Technical Sales Manager - Low Voltage
Responsibilities
You will strategically grow the Low-Voltage business, combining customer development, technical consulting, and rigorous opportunity management. You will guide customers and internal teams from the first idea through series release, turning requirements into market-ready solutions. Focus: electrical insulation and protection materials/systems for low-voltage components and motors.
What you will shape (Responsibilities)
You combine sales drive with technical understanding: you win new projects, build sustainable customer relationships, and ensure that inquiries and projects are reliably translated into revenue and customer satisfaction.
• You manage sales activities for European customers, execute the sales strategy, and achieve revenue and growth targets
• You acquire new projects and customers and further develop existing accounts, in close coordination with Key Account Management, Customer Service, and other internal interfaces
• You drive quoting and execution: you consistently follow up on customer requests (quotes, lead times, quality inquiries, audits, complaints) and facilitate internal responses
• You lead commercial negotiations (pricing, framework and supply agreements) and maintain a high standard for forecasting, reporting, and CRM/SAP data quality
• You provide technical support and consulting (including internal/external trainings) and coordinate with R&D, product management, and production sites on sampling, validation/qualification, and the implementation of new projects
Requirements
Requirements
• Technical degree or comparable qualification (e.g., electrical engineering, materials/chemical engineering, industrial engineering)
• Several years of experience in technical sales / application engineering / business development (B2B), ideally in the low-voltage environment, insulation/protection materials, or industrial electronics
• Understanding of low-voltage requirements and qualification/validation processes; ability to solve problems cross-functionally
• Strong negotiation and communication skills; stakeholder management at both customer and plant level
• Very good language skills in Italian and English
• Willingness to travel (up to approx. 50%) and a structured way of working (CRM, MS Office; SAP is a plus)
